New to the 2017 Bauer Vapor X800 skates are the Flex-Lock Tongue, Lock-Fit Liner and Lock-Fit footbed. The Flex-Lock Tongue creates a locked-in fit with forward flex and added protection. The Lock-Fit Liner helps keeps your foot dry and locked in place. The quarter package of this skate is a 3-D lasted Curv® composite upper with X-rib pattern for durability and protection. The anatomical heel and ankle provides support keeping your foot in place while skating.
The 2017 Bauer Vapor X800 Skates feature lightweight dual density foam ankle padding which helps with comfort around the ankle areas and the pro TPU sublimated outsole provides durability and protection. TUUK Lightspeed Edge holders are the preferred holder of many NHL players as runners can easily be swapped out when an edge is lost or to easily alternate between different sets. This skate has TUUK LS2 stainless steel runners which have an adjusted height for consistency (16.5mm) and fit seamlessly into the TUUK Lightspeed edge holders (10? stock radius).
